Invest In Our Mission

INVEST IN OUR MISSION
… at Wolfe Ranch of Quakerdale

Partnering with Quakerdale Family Services, Wolfe Ranch is helping to transform lives. Help us care for our most important staff — Our Horses. Why?

“The horse helped me learn to love and trust again. I now know I can tell my family what I am feeling and it will be okay.”

“I don’t like to open up, because I expect others to hurt me. The horse always listens to me, and it has never hurt me.”

What We Do

We know times are challenging right now but we want you to know we are still keeping busy by making improvements and updates to our Ranch facility and making plans for future programming. Our commitment to Serve as Christ Serves does not rest in the light of a pandemic. We find a great deal of hope in hearing from the families we serve and the difference our services have made in their life.

“The horse helped me learn to love and trust again. I now know I can tell my family what I am feeling and it will be okay.” Joey

“I told everyone I’m learning to control my anger by walking a horse. If I can walk a huge horse, controlling my anger isn’t so hard.” Mike

Who We Are

It’s true that Wolfe Ranch is a place to find peace and relaxation. But it’s the staff, board members, volunteers, prayer partners, and donors who make the Ranch what it is. The people of Wolfe Ranch believe in and are dedicated to its MISSION: “… to encourage hope, faith, and growth in the individuals, children, families in the communities …” of Marshall County and the surrounding area…

2020 Spring Fundraiser

Caring for our Horses Fund/Equine Fund

We cannot provide any of the services available to our community without our horse partners. Our horses require constant care in order for them to be able to work and provide their valuable services as they assist us in programming.

The funds we would receive would be used to assist us in caring for our horses in order to provide: Riding lessons, Trail rides, Camps (My Pretty Pony & Cowboy Camp), and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) as well as Equine Assisted Learning (EAL).

In addition, we have times where business is slow, especially during the colder months and in times of crisis (like the Covid-19 pandemic). It is in these times that the Caring for Our Horses Equine Fund provides the reserves we need to continue operations.

Look for more information soon about the fundraiser starting May 18th and running through June 18th.

Story Time at the Stables

We have been missing our regular Story Time at the Stables in these times of social distancing! To help brighten your day, our Ranch Manager, Dave Smith decided to share a couple stories read in front of the beautiful fireplace at the Ranch. You may have caught these stories over at our Facebook page, but we wanted to share them again here!

Invest in Yourself Retreat!

Due to the COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus), this event has been postponed. Please check back for when we can reschedule.

Please join us, along with Rapha Reins, in welcoming Elaine Davis of Unbridled Faith to the Wolfe Ranch on April 3rd and 4th for our Invest in Yourself Retreat. We will be taking time to reflect, reset and renew our faith. “There is no more profitable investment than investing in yourself. It is the best investment you can make; you can never go wrong with it. It is the true way to improve yourself to be the best version of you and lets you be able to best serve those around you.”― Roy T. Bennett (The Light in the Heart). We look forward to seeing you there!
