Darlene Fitkin
Darlene brings a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to helping people work toward healing and growth.
Darlene draws on specialized training and her own life experiences to support people facing difficult circumstances. She recognizes that trauma can shape fears, anxiety, and behavior, and works with each person’s strengths to guide goals and treatment. Her Christian faith informs her work, and she values each individual’s faith and cultural background.
Her experience includes supporting people affected by PTSD and addiction, as well as families, couples, single parents, children, and adults. She uses approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, art, play, talk therapy, and therapeutic activities, alongside trauma-focused techniques and relapse prevention.
Through Quakerdale Family Services, Darlene offers appointments in person and by telehealth.
