Iam proud to be an adopted child and this experience is one of the reasons I entered and have stayed within the field of social work. I attribute my strength, honesty and dedication to the consistent love of my parents. I know I was given a gift when God choose my parents and have counted my blessings my entire life. I have been married to my handsome and loving husband for the past 26 years, and we have five fur babies (always looking to add more).
Debbie is our Office Manager here at the Wolfe Ranch of Quakerdale. She has been with Quakerdale for 15 years and is the voice you hear when you call the Ranch. Debbie creates patient appointments and handles our insurance billing in addition to the many other office duties that she does "behind the scenes".
Sydney is our Ranch Manager here at Wolfe Ranch. She just graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls with a degree in Animal Science Equine Management. Sydney does all of our riding lessons, trail rides, camps, takes care of all of the horses, and keeps the ranch maintained. What's a product or service you'd like to show.
Indy (short for Independent) is a black & white Gypsy Vanner cross. She loves to roll around in the dirt & get messy! She has a ‘babysitter’ attitude, so if you’re new to riding, she will make sure you feel safe. But she can also push your buttons if she knows you need someone to push you to do your best! Overall, Indy is a big horse with an even bigger heart – just how we like our horses at the Ranch.
Sam is a sorrel paint gelding, and is the oldest horse at the Ranch. He is a major cuddle bug & loves hugs! You can do just about anything with him except he isn’t a big fan of going fast. He also has a ‘babysitter’ attitude, so if you’re new to horses he’s a great first horse friend. Since he is older, he gets senior feed to help keep his muscles strong.
Matt the Clydesdale gelding is the biggest horse at the ranch and he is the definition of a gentle giant! Matt loves treats, grass, brushing, and petting! You have to not only be careful of his big feet, but his big nose loves sneaking kisses too!
Stormy is a black quarter horse gelding and is the true definition of a “babysitter” horse. His down to earth and gentle personality make him a great horse for beginners and first time riders! He may not like going fast, but he loves attention, petting, and brushing!
Sammy is a dun quarter horse gelding who loves to do everything! He does everything from showing, barrel racing, roping, halter classes, and more! He is a great horse for riders wanting to learn how to do more!
Red is a sorrel quarter horse gelding who loves brushing and snuggling! His favorite part of the day is breakfast time, so he never misses a meal!
Jules is our barn cat, but is more importantly the “supervisor” of everything at the ranch! She loves to snuggle, get petted, and you can usually find her sleeping on the hay in the barn!
Pumpkin is our newest addition to our ranch house crew. He is a sweetheart who will be the first to greet you when you walk in! He loves attention and playing with his brother Monte!
Monte is the youngest member of our ranch kitty crew whom we adopted from the ARL in Marshalltown. He is a little nervous around new people, but once he gets to know you, he will be meowing for you to pet him!
Tabby is the oldest member of our ranch cats whom we also adopted from the ARL in Marshalltown. Although she doesn’t enjoy playing with her brothers, her favorite thing to do is keep Debbie company in the office sharing her desk chair!
